Personalized Instruction
Tailored Learning Experience
You set the goals—I’ll create a tailored plan to get you there. Each week, you’ll receive a precise set of exercises focused on the areas you want to improve, with clear instructions on how and how much to practice. I record your exercises on video so you can revisit them anytime, and I’m available on WhatsApp if you have any questions between lessons.
Kids Welcome
One-to-one or in small groups
I offer fun, engaging guitar lessons for kids that help build confidence, focus, and creative thinking—skills that carry over into every part of life. Whether your child wants to work toward music grades, learn their favorite songs, write their own music, or even explore the basics of composition and production, I tailor each lesson to their interests and pace. I also offer small group sessions (up to 3 children), which are a great way to learn in a social and supportive environment.
All Skill Levels
Complete beginner to intermediate
As you begin your guitar journey, it’s important to avoid developing bad habits early on—ones that can quietly slow down your progress and make learning harder over time. I was lucky to study in Italy with the incredible Paolo Schianchi (more amazing than Spider-Man), who taught me the value of strong foundations and mindful practice. That experience shapes the way I teach today.

Inspiring Creativity
To me, the main reason to learn an instrument is to make music with it—your music. Learning AC/DC or Adele’s songs is great, but there’s something even more rewarding about playing something you’ve written yourself. I write every week and love helping others tap into their creativity, offering tips and guidance to make songwriting feel natural, fun, and personal.
FAQ
Do you teach students from Hammersmith or Chiswick?
Yes. Many students travel from Hammersmith and Chiswick thanks to the convenient transport links in West London.
Do I need my own guitar to start lessons?
Yes, it’s best to have your own guitar so you can practise between lessons. An acoustic guitar is usually the easiest starting point for beginners, but electric guitar works just as well if that’s the style you prefer.
If you’re not sure what instrument to buy, I’m happy to recommend a few good beginner options before your first lesson.
Are the lessons suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely. Many of my students start with no previous experience at all.
Lessons begin with the fundamentals: basic chords, rhythm, and learning simple songs. From there we gradually build technique and confidence so that playing guitar becomes natural and enjoyable.
The pace is always adapted to the student — there’s no pressure to follow a rigid programme.
Do you teach students from outside Kilburn?
Yes. Many students travel from nearby areas such as Hammersmith, Chiswick, Shepherd’s Bush, and other parts of West London.
The location is easy to reach via public transport, which makes it convenient for students coming from across West London.
I can also travel, teach online, or at Arch Studios in Stamford Brook or Folkie’s in Kilburn (surcharge applies)
